Mac and Kristi,
They say the prayers of sinners go to the head of the line (something about a prodigal son), so ours should fly past those of the more devout.
Your recovery should go without a hitch if our sinner prayers are answered as promised.
Love you guys and will see you when we get back from the beach!

Hey Mac and Kristi,
I’ve been thinking of and praying for you all and the kids since I heard the word. I’m glad to read Kristi’s recent kick-butt report! Writing that makes it look like a pun.
Make sure to rest and know that we all are missing you all. Just know that all your friends look forward to getting you back same ole. See you later, David

Glad you are doing well, Mac. Hope the surgery will keep you from making anymore comments about the Big Blue Nation.

Judge Mac, Kristi, and family:
We are so glad to hear that you are doing well. Keep your spirits up. If you need some more stuffed peppers or a pecan pie to speed up recovery, you know who to call.
We are praying for you!

The first time I served jury duty 15 or more years ago I sat in your court as a juror in a criminal trial. The defendant was accused of assaulting U of L students on campus. The jury reached a unanimous verdict within in less than 15 minutes after sitting for 2 days in the trial. You made us sit in the jury room for at least a half hour longer, you told us, afraid that we had convicted someone so quickly. You seemed relieved when you heard our verdict of not guilty. You presented each of us with a certificate of jury service in yor courtroom. I have since served jury duty 4 times but will always remember what a nice & professional judge you were. May God be with you & your family during this difficult time.
